AutoCAD Electrical 2025 includes several enhancements and new features, focusing on improving efficiency, user experience, and reporting capabilities. Here are some key highlights:

  • Automatic Reports Enhancement: You can now create or update a drawing list report with the Automatic Reports tool. This report extracts and displays the settings of each drawing within the project.   
  • Bill of Materials (BOM) Report Enhancement: The BOM report now offers enhanced sorting capability by TAG, giving you more control over how the report is organized. You can sort by TAG in addition to the existing options for Schematic, Panel, and Automatic Reports.   
  • Symbol List Report Enhancement: The Symbol list report now supports symbol block names with up to 60 characters. Also, generating this report no longer produces an error when the User Attributes file has the same name as the project name.   
  • Component Wire List Report: Addressed an issue where generating the Symbol list report would result in an error if the User Attributes file had the same name as the project name.   
  • Panel BOM: The Panel BOM (Display in Purchased list) is now correctly sorted according to the .set file in Automatic Reports and Panel report. 
      
• Other Improvements:
• Insert Footprints: Inserting panel footprints using the schematic list for Peer-to-Peer Cross Discipline components no longer results in an error.
